Antique Georgian period rose cut diamonds, silver and 18kt yellow gold cluster ring. Circa early 1800s. The top is silver set with a rose cut diamond in the center surrounded by 7 tiny diamond chips (tiny diamonds that are only slightly faceted) in a swirl design. The center rose cut diamond measures approximately 2.3mm in diameter. The shank is 18 karat yellow. The ring has an antique patina of tarnish related to the interaction between the gold and the silver. This a commonly encountered antique patina.
